Rachel joined Miller in 2019 as Assistant to the Head of School. She is a proud Duke from James Madison University with a B.A in English and a Minor in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication. During her time at JMU, she developed a passion for community service through Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority as the Service Vice President. She also discovered her love for poetry and prose when she attended the Furious Flower Poetry Conference, where she had the privilege of meeting and speaking with poet Jericho Brown. Her research paper celebrating Brown was then published to the FFPC website.
In her spare time, Rachel freelances as a makeup artist. She takes pride in her work and ability to make people feel comfortable in their own skin. She also enjoys cooking and spending time with her three cats: Tuna, Minnow, and Squid.
