MSA cross-country runners succeed at Conference Championships.

The Mavericks competed in the Conference Championships held in Roanoke, Virginia on Saturday, November 4 and VISAA State Championships at Woodberry Forest School on November 9. In the BRAC Championship, Laina Landseadel and Katie Kelley ran impressive races for the team, both finishing in the top-20. During the VIC Championship race, Dietrich Larson stood out by running an impressive 6th place finish, earning him All-Conference honors.

In the VISAA State Championships at Woodberry Forest School School Dietrich finished his season with an All-State performance, finishing 16th place in a field of over 130 runners. In the girls race, Katie Kelley ran the best race of her season, dropping nearly 90 seconds from her previous PR. Her remarkable effort earned her 11th place and All-State honors.
