Ethan joined Miller School of Albemarle in August 2022 as a History Teacher after three years of working in Residential Life. He is a Midwesterner through and through being born and raised just outside of Cleveland and spending considerable time in Indiana, but is enjoying the change of scenery.

Ethan is a proud Terrier graduating from Boston University with his BA in Archaeology and Anthropology. While in school he worked at BU’s zooarchaeology lab and attended field school in St. Louis. Ethan then went on to be an interpreter at a living history museum. He loves melding his passion for archaeology into the fabric of his classroom, having his students do the work of historians, anthropologists, and archaeologists.

Outside of the classroom, you will find Ethan hitting golf balls, throwing cornhole bags, or curled up on the couch cheering on the Red Sox. He looks forward to exploring Charlottesville and making Miller his new home.
